Are you wearing the right shoes for the right activity?

Let’s talk shoes!

The right shoes for the right activity can improve your performance and can help prevent common injuries.

I recommend doing your research and not buying shoes just based on the looks.

For runners, I highly recommend going to your local running store and speak with an expert. These stores will help you get into the right shoes for your goals & activity levels.

Two very important things when buying shoes:

🏃🏻‍♀️Correct size - don’t run in shoes that are too small; ensure those toes have plenty of room.

🏃🏻‍♀️Pronator, supinator or neutral - you need the correct shoe for your feet.

I like to have a variety of shoes to rotate through.  I always have a new pair of my favs to add into rotation when it’s getting close to retiring a pair.  Track your mileage on your shoes & make sure you replace every 350-500 miles.

Run happy!
