Hello!  I'm Brooke.

I am a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor & nutrition coach.

I am a runner.

A fitness geek.

And I have a mission to inspire and motivate people to access their energy and move for longevity.

A few things to know about me:

I am a normal person; I drink wine, I don’t have six pack abs and I don’t bench press, but I am happy with the strength and muscle definition I have developed.  I am 50 years old, and I can honestly say that I am in the best shape of my life, and you can be too!  My late 40’s is when I transformed my body to the strongest, healthiest, and fittest it has ever felt.  Being strong is an amazing feeling!

In 2018 I moved to Florida from Maryland, and I found myself being more active and I couldn’t wait to get home from work to run, bike, walk everywhere I could.   This is when the real transformation with my body and health started.  My mindset shifted to a healthier place, always wanting to get in a good sweat and eat fresh, clean foods.

And then, like a lot of people my life changed with Covid, my job in an industry that I had worked in for over 20 years of my life was eliminated and I had to decide what the next chapter was going to be.  I decided to become a Personal Trainer to help people feel the way I started to feel by focusing on exercise.  With a lot of hard work (physically & mentally) I earned my certifications as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor.

Understanding the importance of a balanced diet and the correct amount of food was a revelation for me.  Over the past few years through my own experience running half marathons and my first marathon I learned the importance of properly fueling the body to ensure it continues to work for me (the mile 9 wall is a real thing, and I learned the hard way).  Fitness and nutrition go hand in hand (remember, abs aren’t made in the kitchen), so it makes complete sense to offer my clients both services to fulfill their fitness and wellness journey.  Being active, eating right, continuing this lifestyle well into my 80’s has become a priority for me.

My goal as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach is to share my experiences and knowledge to help people embrace healthy habits that they can incorporate.  Effective programing and tools, tips, and the knowledge to carve out time in your busy life to exercise and eat right, guiding you through mobility and stretching, and anything else you need to feel the best you can in your body is what you can expect from me.

Like I said, I’m a normal person.  I made a transformation later in life with consistency, commitment, and determination.  Know that there is no magic pill; you have the ability to do the same with people like me to help you on the journey.
