You know its time to add strength training into your weekly workout schedule. There are plenty of apps out there to use; some that are really good, but do you know what's best for you? There are people all over social media showing you how to build a booty or sculpt your abs, but is that really why you need a good strength training program?
There are a lot of things to know when building a strength training program; 7 movement patterns, proper form, how and when to progress, reps, sets, super-sets, bi-sets, tri-sets, and the list goes on... If you really want to see a difference in your body, your overall strength and well being, your balance and stability without the risk of injury...work with a professional. Invest in yourself and your longevity. You only have one body and you don' t get your medical advice from social media, do you?
Ways to invest in yourself:
Find an app that is operated by certified fitness professionals and allows you to create the programs based on you, your goals and your fitness level.
Find a local gym with certified personal trainers that will individualize your program, keep you safe and encourage your progression.
Hire a certified personal trainer to work with 1 on 1 to reach your goals safely and efficiently. Look for a trainer that shares your values and fitness & nutrition philosophies.
As a certified personal trainer I can create 6 week programs for you to do on your own or work with me 1 on 1, in person or virtually. I like to work in 6 week increments which shows commitment and gives you the time to see the results of your hard work. I also offer small group personal training for like minded people with similar goals and is more economical for you, the client.
